How to Make Simple Foods for Camping

Camping is a way to fill a weekend activity or an option during long school holiday vacation. Make sure that your camping trip is about to get a lot more exciting experiences, including make some simple foods in outdoor places.

1. SAUSAGE PEPPER ONION ONE POT

Sausage pepper onion one pot is a good idea for completing your camping trip. Since, this food is easy to make and only need ingredients which easy to find around us. This one pot meal includes three different kind of pepper along with sweet and/or spicy Italian sausage, fresh herbs and ciabatta breads. Here is the ingredients to make "sausage pepper onion one pot"
3 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil1
½ tsp fennel seed1 red chile pepper, thinly sliced
2 cubanelle peppers, thinly sliced1 red bell pepper, cored and thinly sliced
2 red onions, thinly sliced
4 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
2 Tbsp tomato paste
½ cup dry white wine1 cup chicken stock
15 ounce tomato sauce, can1 generous handful flat-leaf parsley, finely chopped1 loaf ciabatta bread
Directions:
1. Place the sausages in a high-sided skillet or Dutch oven and one inch water and 1 tablespoon virgin olive oil to the pan.
2. Heat extra-virgin olive oil, a couple of turn of the pan, in the same skillet over medi- um-high heat, stir in fennel seed and chile pepper, then add in the peppers, onions, and garlic as you slice them, season with salt and pepper and cook 15 minutes to soften. Stir in the tomato paste 1 min- ute, then wine for 1 minute more. Add the chicken stock and canned tomatoes. Finish with parsley
3. Slice the sausages on an an- gle and add to the pot. Cover, cool completely, and store for a make-head meal.
4. Crisp up chunks of bread in a warm oven


2. Breakfast Sandwich 

Breakfast sandwiches are perfect for camping. They’re easy to eat on the go, can be made quickly and fill you up for a full day of adventures. Don’t fall back on the standard egg and cheese staple on your next camping trip. Instead, try these breakfast sandwich recipes that are sure to please everyone.
Caprese Breakfast “Pie”, this twist on a traditional breakfast sandwich adds fresh- ness and offers bold flavor from the basil leaves. It’s so good you’ll forget you’re eating around the campfire.
— 1 English muffin
— 1 medium ball fresh moz- zarella
— 2 tomato slices
— 1 egg— Butter
— 2 basil leavesButter both sides of the En- glish muffin, and place them butter-side down in a pie iron. Meanwhile, cook an egg over hard in a pan on the camping stove. Once finished, place your egg in the pie iron, along with tomato, basil and fresh mozzarella.Place your pie iron in the coals and let sit for 2 to 5 minutes, depending on how hot the coals are. The sandwich is done when the bread has suffi- ciently browned.
